Senior Teaching Assistant

The overall Marland group of schools are currently graded as 'Good' by Ofsted Education, with the residential care provision separately judged to be 'Outstanding' by Ofsted Social Care inspectorate. Our overarching ethos is based around personalisation and meeting the needs of each individual child. We utilise 'THRIVE' based social and emotional development at the core of everything we do.    

 

To support the Learning Support Manager and Team to supporting the needs of Pupils across the school, to ensure that they make good learning and Social and Emotional progress. This support may occur inside or outside the classroom in collaboration with Classroom teachers, to help all learners stay regualted and happy in school.

 

As a member of the Senior TA Team to undertake occasional cover supervision of whole classes as / if required. Also, you will be required to plan, deliver and report on, individual phonics interventions on a 1:1 basis.

 

Training and ongoing professional development opportunities are offered to all staff, as are potential promotion opportunities due to the ongoing expansion of our popular schools.

Salary: Grade 'D'  £13.47 - £14.36 per hour / £22,359 - £23,837 per annum
