1:1 Teaching Assistant

The post is a fixed term appoinment on a 1:1 basis and involves supporting a student  in Key Stage 3, whilst the student remains at School in the classroom and during many varied off-site activities, so a willingness to work in a range of learning environments is essential. You will need to be an effective communicator who is skilled at building relationships and passionate about helping young people develop socially, academically and emotionally.

Ability to travel according to the needs of the job, with reasonable adjustments, if required, according to the Equality Act.

Salary:  £13.47 - £13.69 per hour

Hours per week:                                                                                                                                                                          Monday:          9.05am - 3.10pm                                                                                                                                            Tuesday:          9.05am - 3.10pm                                                                                                                                              Wednesday:    9.05am - 1.05pm                                                                                                                                    Thursday:        9.05am - 3.10pm                                                                                                                                    Friday:             9.05am - 3.10pm

Weeks per annum:  38
