Sporting Achievement

Marland School recently attended the Devon Autumn Ability Games in Barnstaple. Twenty one students in all took part in a football tournament against many other special and mainstream schools from across Devon. The students were an absolute credit to themselves and to the school with immaculate attitudes and behaviour throughout the day. They also performed superbly well, with one of the junior teams winning their tournament and the other junior team coming third. The senior team found themselves in a tough competition but rallied together to play some great football, eventually finishing a very respectable second.
For their efforts the students have earned themselves an invitation to the finals at the Devon Summer Ability Games, so lots for us to work towards!
