All students have made a flying start with new Art projects this year!
Upper school students have begun work on individual briefs creating work for BTEC qualifications. Year 11 students will have the option of entering work for GCSE if their work’s up to scratch!

With the new BTEC focus, students are working towards their own personalised design briefs.

For example:
Josh Drew is renovating picture frames for the Learning Support Room. He then plans to create a series of ‘Street Art’ style images to put in them.

Ben Walden is creating a Middle-Earth style 3D model to accompany his role-playing games.

Callum Currey is taking a series of photographs to document his view of life at the school.

As much work as possible will work will be put onto the blog to update parents, carers, friends and relative of students. This is a great way to show what students are achieving and at the same time helps towards their qualification.
