Welcome to Marland School
Marland is one of 10 special schools in the Devon wide SENtient Co-operative Foundation Trust and is maintained by Devon Local Authority.
The school caters for the needs of Year 4 – Year 11 students who experience Social, Emotional and Behavioural and/or Mental Health Difficulties (SEBD / SEMH) and is based on two separate sites in North Devon.
Our Barnstaple school offers co-educational day education for up to 36 Year 4 – Year 11 students from the North Devon area (currently boys only on roll).
Our other school just outside of Great Torrington offers residential provision for up to 40 Year 6 – Year 11 male students from across the whole of Devon county. Our aim is to provide high quality, personalised support, care and education to each and every one of our students, helping each to develop into happy, independent, well-educated and socially confident young adults with a positive place in society.
We are a school first and foremost and proud of our students and their achievements.
